Baptist 4 Haiti website

The Georgia Baptist Convention sent a team to Haiti following the January 12, 2010 earthquake to see how we as Baptist churches could minister to the people of Léogâne, Haiti, the location of the epicenter of the 7.0 magnitude earthquake.  This resulted in the rental of a house, now known as the Georgia House, and teams  coming to minister to the devastated people.  The Georgia Baptist Convention has concluded its coordination of this ministry as of November 30, 2011.  This is where BAPTISTS 4 HAITI, Inc, a 501(c)3 non-profit has been organized to continue ministry in the Léogâne area.
For 2012, they have scheduled 26 churches and 75 homes to be rebuilt.  They are in need of building teams and VBS teams to conduct VBS simultaneously with construction.  Ministry opportunities are available in four ministry areas; Preaching (during regular worship or revival meetings) , Teaching (VBS and seminary classes), Healing (medical clinics), and Building (26 churches and 75 homes).  BAPTISTS 4 HAITI, Inc is looking for at least 100 churches, individuals, or organizations to partner with them.
